Vodafone 4G Services launches in Tripura

Agartala, 24 Jan, 2017 :: Vodafone India on Tuesday rolled out its 4G service in Tripura. The company in a statement said that it will launch its 4G services across major towns and cities of Assam and North East circles by March 2017.

The 4G launch in Agartala follows the launch of 4G services in Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Bongaigaon, Guwahati and Dibrugarh in Assam, Aizawl in Mizoram, Kohima in Nagaland and Shillong in Meghalaya.

Tripura pride gymnast Dipa Karmakar on Tuesday launched the Vodafone 4G supernet service. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Alok Verma, business head in a statement said that the 3G services will not be hit due to the start of the 4G services as has happened in case of other companies.

Bikas Singh, sales head mentioned that three officers have been deputed in Agartala to look after the customers and resellers grievances. It may be mentioned here that Vodafone has 1.4 lakh subscriber base in Agartala, the highest in any North Eastern city. It has one store and 14 mini stores in the state. After Itanagar and Guwahati the state capital is the third city where the 4G service has been launched.
